2017-18 Natural Disaster Resilience Program (NDRP)
About the NDRP
The aim of the NDRP is to reduce Queensland communities’ vulnerability to natural hazards and build community resilience.
NDRP is jointly funded (50/50) by the Australian and Queensland Governments through the National Partnership Agreement on Natural Disaster Resilience.
In Queensland, administration of the NDRP is now managed by the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA).
The NDRP provides flexibility to effectively meet the requirements of local Queensland communities threatened by disasters by supporting projects that address specific local risks.
Applications for the 2017-18 NDRP closed on 27 April 2018.

Queensland’s total funding available in 2017-18 under NDRP is $14.303 million. This total comprises $12.006 million funded 50/50 by the Queensland and Australian Governments for 2017-18, plus savings transferred from acquittal of the previous years’ NDRP program.
